Katy’s Gourmet Cookies is a family owned scratch baked cookie company based in Columbus, Ohio. Katy’s seeks to provide classic recipes prepared with a gourmet touch, by Katy who is a graduate of a major university’s culinary program. Brick and mortar

 location plans are in the near future, but to kick off this brands identity for an initial design Katy and I worked together in order to create an identity that could be identified as a mix of retro and modern design aesthetics, looks warm and inviting.

What I wanted to accomplish: I wanted to create something that used color and form to separate itself from many other similar brands I saw, since this based in a majority college town, I wanted to keep it fun, and smart. While at the same time form the packaging to look scratch made and cozy opposed to big store bought and cliche.
